Dallas, Oregon is a community of about 15,000 residents and is both a 'suburb' of Salem and a unique small city of its own. It is the county seat of Polk County and is located just south of Rte 22, 15 miles East of Salem. The area has experienced strong growth and development and an influx of new residents from out of the area. It has a blend of older historic small town charm and modern 'amentities' such as WalMart and Starbucks. Farms and ranches are abundant in the area.
