The home buying process can be a very stressful time if you don’t know what you’re doing. And I most definitely did not know what I was doing. If it wasn’t for David Brown and his buyers agent team I would have been in way over my head! David not only helped my fiancee and I buy our first home, but he helped us do it before we ever even moved into the state. We linked up with David through our searches for real estate online. We sent David an email, hoping for advice, on the home buying process, but got much more. We spoke numerous times on the phone and via email before meeting for a one week house hunting trip that we had made from Oklahoma to Oregon. My wife and I recently went through the process of purchasing a rural property. In our quest, we were fortunate enough to have no restrictions on where we could live, and were able to actively investigate areas from extreme southern Oregon to southern Washington. A large task, to be sure!
Along the way, we worked with nearly a dozen buyer's agents. Of all the agents we met, only one stood out: David Brown. It wasn't because he was gaudy or obnoxiously extroverted; it was because he was quiet, thoughtful, and really knows real estate and the buying process.
He was the only agent who was fully prepared from the first time we shook hands. He came with folders holding more information on the properties we viewed than anyone else had even thought about supplying. In fact, it was astonishing how well he'd done his homework - right down to visiting the neighbors ahead of our showing!
We ended up selling our existing property and purchasing the new one simultaneously. We had a listing agent and a buying agent on each property, which meant a total of four involved agents.
